Your next outdoor adventure is waiting for you!

Camp Kaufmann offers a variety of camping experiences throughout the year. Depending on the season, Girl Scouts may sign up for trips run by our camp staff, such as Day Trips and Overnight Themes, or plan their own adventures with Troop Camping!

Financial aid is available for Girl Scouts only (not available for adults). You will be prompted to request and apply for financial aid during the registration process.

Note on Camp Kaufmann registration: When booking a trip to Camp Kaufmann, you will be redirected to our online booking platform, CampBrain. If you have any issues booking your trip through this portal, please contact campkaufmann@girlscoutsnyc.org.

Experiences

Day Trips

Perfect for first-time campers of all levels!

Day trips run from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

The cost of a day trip includes staff-led programming, lunch, snacks, s'mores, and a fun patch.

Overnight Themes toggle arrow

For Girl Scouts and their troop leaders

Overnight Themes run from Saturday morning to Sunday morning for a full 24 hours of fun!

All groups must be accompanied by an adult volunteer who has completed the Overnight Adventures: Sleep Out training and an adult volunteer who has completed First Aid/CPR certification. One volunteer CAN hold both certifications.

Girl Scouts and their troop leaders can opt to spend the night in one of Camp Kaufmann’s Troop and Lake Houses during Overnight Themes! Level-specific and all-level experiences are offered, with programming led by camp staff.

Food is provided by camp and prepared by the visiting troop.

A Girl Scouts-Only experience

Summer Sleepaway Camp is back for 2024! Sleepaway camp is for Girl Scouts who have been to camp before and feel comfortable spending the night away from home without their families or troop leaders. Girl Scouts are supervised by trained camp counselors.

For Girl Scouts of all ages and their troop leaders

Recommended for Brownies-Ambassadors

Troop Camping typically runs Friday afternoon-Sunday morning

Troops may choose to stay for one night or two nights. Girl Scouts and their chaperones plan their own meals and programming.

Please be sure to review and complete the required volunteer trainings.
