There are plenty of ways to get involved and make a difference in the lives of New York City Girl Scouts. Help out at a Big Booth sale during Cookie Season, guide Girl Scouts through a badge workshop, play coach during a Girl Scouts Love State Parks field day, or even lead a temporary troop.
Short-term volunteer roles are the perfect opportunity for those interested in working with youth or developing project management and facilitation skills. Official documentation of volunteer service is available upon request.
Please note, all volunteers must obtain a Girl Scouts membership and clear a background check.
Girl Scout Series are 2-6 week programs conducted in partnership with a local school or youth-serving organization. Volunteer facilitators work alongside GSGNY staff to lead extracurricular workshops for current and potential Girl Scouts alike. Workshops involve fun and educational activities that introduce students to some of the core program areas GSGNY has to offer, including robotics, environmental advocacy, and more.

Whether you can give a few days, a few weeks, or a few months, volunteering with Girl Scouts is flexible and fun!
