Celebrating our volunteers

Volunteer recognition and awards are given to adults in the Girl Scouts community that have had a profound impact on girls and the movement at large. Volunteer Recognition is an adult-only event open to all Adult Volunteers and Community Partners. Volunteers may receive awards ranging from Years of Membership Pins to the Greater New York Executive Award! Check out all of the recognitions and their criteria in the booklet below.

Nominations are open!

Anyone can nominate a volunteer! Fellow volunteers often nominate their peers for outstanding hard work and dedication, or you can even nominate yourself! To nominate a troop leader or another adult who you believe deserves to be celebrated, complete the online nomination forms linked below.

Complete a Letter of Endorsement if required with the nomination.
