Nicole Robinson-Etienne is a dedicated Girl Scout leader with over 22 years of service. She founded PS 276 Girl Scouts in 2003, starting with just eight Brownies and expanding it into a vibrant network of five troops serving girls from kindergarten through 12th grade. Under her guidance, the troop has become a vital part of the community, recognized nationally for its commitment to community service and its role in inspiring girls to pursue leadership and nontraditional career paths through initiatives like the Girl Scout Leadership Institute and partnerships with organizations like Digital Girl Inc. Nicole’s guiding principle, "It is through partnerships such as ours, the community benefits," reflects her dedication to fostering collaboration for the greater good.
In her professional life, Nicole serves as the Senior Director of External Affairs at LinkNYC, where she leads efforts to expand tech equity and bridge the digital divide in underserved communities. Her career includes key roles such as Vice President for Government and Community Affairs at the Institute for Community Living and Assistant Director of Community and Government Affairs at the New York Aquarium. Nicole holds a BA from Fordham University, a JD from Northeastern University, and a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from the University of South Florida.
Beyond her professional and Girl Scout commitments, Nicole is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., where she chairs the Social Action Committee, and contributes to the Public Relations, and Community Service Committees. Her outstanding contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including the City & State Above and Beyond Award, Brooklyn Woman of Distinction Award, Caribbean Life Impact Award (2015 and 2021) and NY State and City proclamations and citations. Nicole's work embodies her lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and making a lasting impact in her community.
