
Luchia has curated numerous high-profile exhibitions at prestigious museums, galleries, and art organizations globally. Her work has garnered international recognition, with features in renowned media outlets such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. She has also contributed extensively to the arts as a writer, publishing essays and catalogs that reflect her commitment to artistic and cultural dialogue.
Before founding TAAC in 2014, Luchia held key roles as Director and Chief Curator of the Exhibition Department at the National Taiwan Museum of Art, Cultural Specialist at Taiwan’s Council for Cultural Affairs, and Curator at the Taipei Gallery in New York’s Rockefeller Center.
Luchia earned her M.Phil. in the History of Art and Architecture from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, specializing in Insular art and exploring innovative ways to exhibit Medieval manuscripts through technology. Her international expertise extends to serving as a committee member and consultant for numerous art organizations and as a juror for institutions like the Queens Arts Council and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
Since moving to New York in 1995, she has become a prominent figure in the city's contemporary art scene, curating groundbreaking exhibitions and events across North America and beyond. She co-edited Zhang Hongtu: Expanding Visions of a Shrinking World, a 340-page volume co-published by Duke University Press and Queens Museum.
Her contributions to the arts have been recognized with the QCC/CUNY Partnership Honor (2023) and the Claire Shuman Community Impact Award (2024).
