Meet Team Girl Scouts: Joyce Beck
My name is Joyce, and I live in Marietta, GA. I started running in high school and have always dreamed of running the NYC Marathon.
This year, I’m doing it in honor of my father, who passed away three years ago. I’m proud to partner with Girl Scouts of Greater New York—a cause close to my heart. I was a Girl Scout, later a troop leader for my daughter, and a camp volunteer. I’m grateful for the support from friends, family, and GSGNY as I take on this meaningful challenge.
