Join the Girl Scouts of Greater New York as we celebrate and learn about Juneteenth. Participants will learn about the history of Juneteenth. We will also learn about the foods that were made. Participants will leave with a recipe and a list of books that they can find on their own. We will play a game of Kahoot and share what we know and have learned about the holiday. There will also be a presentation by the Universal Hip Hop Museum where we will hear how hip hop music and Juneteenth are connected. Girl Scouts who participate will earn a Juneteenth patch.
After registration, check the Additional Documentation to get the Zoom meeting link!
