All registered adults and girls ages 14 and older are invted to join us for the fall 2014 association meeting in the Bronx, hosted by Bronx association chair Sandra Lee.   Click HERE to download a flyer.


DATE: Tuesday, September 30, 2014


TIME: 6:45 (displays and refreshments/meet & greet with the CEO).  Meeting begins at 7:15pm.


LOCATION: Bartow Avenue Community Center, 2049 Bartow Avenue, Room 31,Bronx, NY 10475

TRANSIT VIA CAR:  New England Thruway (I-95 N) to Exit 11 toward Bartow/Co-OP City Blvd. Turn left onto Baychester Ave., take first right onto Bartow Ave. At second light, turn left into Bartow Avenue Shopping center, community center is next to Dollar Tree. Walk downstairs, make a left, then right through double doors. Parking is available in the Shopping Center.


TRANSIT VIA SUBWAY/BUS:  6 train to Pelham Bay Park, then BX23 or Q50 (make sure bus is going to Section 1) Get off bus at the first stop off I-95, walk to corner (Popeye’s) make right, walk one block to shopping center, entrance next to Dollar Tree. Or  5 train to Gun Hill Road, then BX28 or BX38 to Bartow/Baychester Ave. stop (under I-95) Walk one block to shopping center, entrance next to Dollar Tree


TRANSIT VIA BUS ONLY: BXM7, (pick up on Madison Ave. at 23rd, 35th, 45th, 51st, or 70th St., also, 3rd Ave. & 87th & 123rd St.) Get off at Asch Loop stop, walk ½ block (pass basketball court) to Bartow Ave. shopping center, entrance is down ramp. BX28, BX 38, BX23, Q50 9 see train/bus directions. BX30 to Asch Loop/Alcott Pl. stop (same walking directions as BXM express bus).

Special Presentation: Join us for a presentation on how to use and adapt the Journey curriculums for your troop!  We will outline the key activities needed to complete a Journey – along with supply lists and sample agendas – and introduce a brand-new Online Resource Library where you can access these and other curriculums.  Information on internet safety for parents and girls will be covered. We will also provide an overview of upcoming cookie program changes.
