In-Person and Virtual offerings are available to fit your family’s schedule and comfort.

All summer offerings are open to all Girl Scout levels and their families unless otherwise specified.

We are an inclusive environment and encourage Girl Scouts with all abilities and unique learners to participate/apply.

Girl Scout Membership is required to participate in any or all summer offerings.

Get Outside
Camp Kaufmann

July-August

Camp Kaufmann is open for Summer Troop and Family Camping, and Day Trips! Enjoy safe and fun overnight visits or themed day trips. Meals, fun patches, campfire time, and s’mores are included for all experiences. Click here to book your camp getaway today! (Cost varies)

National Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge

June-September

Celebrate the outdoors! Based on your grade level, complete the required number of challenge activities to earn a snazzy new FUN patch. Click here to take on the challenge activities! Pro tip – many of these activities can be completed at Camp Kaufmann! #gsoutdoors

Girl Scouts Love State Parks

September 10, 11, and 12

Girl Scouts across NYC will partner with five State Parks to celebrate our shared love for the outdoors along with troops, friends, and family through a Virtual Camp-In Event, Community Service Project, and borough-specific field days. Registration link coming soon!

In-Person Community Service

We’re partnering with NY State Parks and NYC Parks to give Girl Scouts and their families the chance to Take Action in their communities! Service opportunities will be offered in each borough and be themed around the Girl Scout Tree Promise.

Becoming Me

July 5 - August 8 |  All Girl Scout Levels Welcome

This 5-week program series, inspired by themes from former First Lady Michelle Obama’s book Becoming: Adapted for Young Readers, aims to help Girl Scouts of all ages become their best selves through three curated badge earning experiences. Click here to register!

Digital Leadership

August 9 - September 5 |  All Girl Scout Levels Welcome

This 4-week badge program will focus on the newly released, Instagram-sponsored Digital Leadership Badges. Girl Scouts will explore how to safely use online platforms to become leaders in our digital world. Click here to register!

Money Moves: Financial Literacy

July 12 - 15 and July 19 - July 21, 3:00pm-4:30pm daily |  Open to Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors

This 2-week program intensive, in partnership with Morgan Stanley, will provide an interactive experience for Middle and High School-aged Girl Scouts to learn about spending, saving, investing, and giving back. Click here to register!

BenAnna Band Concert

July 10, 11am

Band members Ben and Anna, from the upbeat BenAnna Band, are hosting a live, virtual performance for Girl Scouts of Greater New York! The high energy duo will have kids and adults singing, dancing, and playing along on instruments. Click here to register!

disAbility Pride Event

Girl Scout Night with the Brooklyn Cyclones

June 25

All Girl Scouts families and friends are welcome to attend Girl Scouts Night with the Brooklyn Cyclones! A fun-filled, in-person, baseball event that includes an exciting game between the Brooklyn Cyclones and the Jersey Shore Blueclaws, a 2021 commemorative patch, a post-game firework show, and more. Tickets are $22, which includes all these exciting perks!
