Before you continue, here are some quick tips to make the
registration process as smooth as possible:
Becoming a Volunteer
After clicking on "Continue" below and filling out your
basic information, you'll find our volunteer opportunity catalog,
where you can search for an available volunteer role.
Want to volunteer with a specific troop? Type in the troop
number to find volunteer opportunities for that troop. If you can't
find the specific troop/volunteer opportunity you're looking for,
choose "Unsure" and type in the troop number along with
any other pertinent information, and a conversion specialist will be
in touch to help you.
Want to find volunteer opportunities near you? Type in your
zip code to find volunteer opportunities in your area. If you're
unsure of which volunteer opportunity to pick, or don't find one,
choose "Unsure" and a conversion specialist will be in
touch to help you.
Interested in leading a troop? As a safety precaution, we ask
all leaders to submit confidential references and complete in-person
training sessions before beginning to work with Girl Scouts. Please
reach out to us at 212-645-4000 or email Customer Care to
learn more about all the requirements to become a leader.
Once you've picked a volunteer opportunity (or selected
"Unsure") and purchased your Girl Scouts membership, you
will receive an email with instructions on how to start and submit
your background screening requirements. A background check is required
for all volunteer positions.
Stopping within the Registration Process
If at any point you'd like to stop within the registration process
before purchasing your Girl Scouts membership*, a conversion
specialist will be in touch shortly to answer your questions or
provide you with more information.
*Once a membership is purchased we are not able to provide refunds
unless a duplicate membership was purchased.
