Leader's Guide to Success

This training includes all the information needed to successfully run a Girl Scout troop (good for new leaders and established leaders who would like refresher) in NYC. Our Volunteer Support and Troop Engagement team facilitates this training via Zoom (monthly, and on as needed basis).

Are you curious about how to plan and facilitate fun and engaging virtual troop meetings? For the new membership year, we have created a new role to expand support for virtual programming needs. In addition to creating virtual content, the Virtual Strategy Lead Specialist can teach you how to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) while safe at home.

As we navigate through this transition, please email Customer Care with your virtual troop meeting inquiries.

Meeting Planning Tools

Check out these tried-and-true resources from fellow troop leaders who successfully adapted their meetings for in-person-safe and virtual settings.

Set up your gsZoom Account

Girl Scouts of USA, in partnership with ZOOM, is offering annual ZOOM licenses at a discounted price of $36 per license. ZOOM licenses can be used for all Girl Scout related events and meetings.

To qualify for a GSUSA ZOOM license, you must:

  • Be a registered co-leader for a Girl Scout troop
  • Have an active troop with at least two approved troop co-leaders (registered, background-cleared, and trained) with girls registered

Submit your GSUSA ZOOM license request via our online form below.

Once you have submitted your request, our team will follow up directly with next steps. We appreciate your patience through this process.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding ZOOM licenses or virtual troops, please email Kristen Glass.
