Forever Green

Girl Scouts Forever Green, our 100th Anniversary Take Action Project, powered by Alcoa, is a global effort to improve the environment and protect natural resources by reducing waste, conserving energy, and planting rain gardens. Girl Scouts of Greater New York is one of 20 councils participating in Together Green, a collaborative project between girls from GSUSA councils and WAGGGS member organizations. 15 or more Girl Scouts from Greater New York and 15 or more Girl Guides from Jamaica will be working together to plan local Forever Green Take Action projects that engage their communities and approximately 400 other youth.

This opportunity is open to all girls in grades 9-12. To apply, please click here to download an application. This project requires a 6-month commitment (December-July). All applications are to be received by December 31st.
