Come join our first ever Cookie University Mentor Training! We’re offering Seniors and Ambassadors the exciting opportunity to learn from and engage with professionals in fields such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Sales.
Not only will you learn about these fields and what it takes to get into them, but you will also gain invaluable firsthand knowledge and skills that you can apply to selling cookies and planning your future career.
Next, you will work together to design a plan for sharing your newfound knowledge and skills with Brownies at our Cookie University on December 9, 2012.

Over the weekend, Girl Scouts Troops 1089, 1091, 1095, and 1096 from Pelham Bay in the Bronx brought holiday cheer to a local nursing home/rehab center! They visited with residents, and made turkey hats with them!

A Howard Beach Girl Scout is working toward her Gold Award – the highest achievement in Girl Scouting – by collecting pajamas for needy children in the foster care system. Congratulations to troops from Jackson Heights for hosting a successful coat drive on Veterans Day! They volunteered their time and received over 300 coats for donation to New York Cares. Last weekend, girls from Troop 1477 (North Riverdale), 3229 (Little Italy), and 6107 (Kingsbridge Heights) took part in a Veterans Day Service in Memorial Grove in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, alongside State Senator Klein, Assemblyman Dinowitz, and Herb Barrett, one of the founders of Memorial Grove.
