Leadership Essentials (LE) is a 3 hour introduction to the Girl Scout program, which should be taken within one year of Getting Started. We have revamped LE to include both LE training and age level training.
Leaders will be introduced to the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience including Journey books and the new and exciting Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting materials. The second part of the training will focus on grade level specific activities; leaders will learn how to facilitate activities to be “girl-led”. In addition, leaders will learn about the characteristics of the grade level girls they will be working with as well as how to manage a troop.
