At mini-sleepaway weekends, Girl Scouts make new friends outside of their troop and experience everything the great outdoors has to offer. Campers will be staying in the rustic cabin and will learn how to safely prepare and cook food outside while working toward environmental badges in participating in survival skill-based activities.
On this weekend in particular, girls will explore the wonderful world of bugs. They will get to experience the butterfly garden, frog pond, low ropes course, row boating, fishing, s'mores and more! At the end of the weekend, they will have fully earned the Bugs and Hiker badges.
