Junior Girl Scout Troop 4791 of Glendale earned their Bronze Award this year by writing puppet show scripts based on four popular children stories teaching lessons on friendship, honesty and bullying. They then created puppet characters to bring the scripts to life for several performances at the Ridgewood public library. The Bronze Award requires 20 community hours, but the girls went above and beyond, and put in 38 hours of time between the creation of scripts, the preparation of puppets, practicing and performing for the children. The library even asked them to come back and perform at the Fun Day at the Ridgewood Library held on June 20. Way to go, girls! http://www.timesnewsweekly.com/news/2015-06-25/Local_News/School_Spotlight.html
